Well, hi there! Can I just say, I’m so glad you’re here! Welcome to this space. I hope you feel at home and at ease.

I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself. After all, that’s how most great friendships start, right? With a beginning. So let’s dive in!

My name is Jessica Henning, but you can call me Jess. I’m a wife to my high school sweetheart, mama bear to four rambunctious boys, ages toddler to teenager, and a multi-passionate entrepreneur in pursuit of writing my first book.

Here’s a bit more about my business endeavors:

I founded my first company in 2017, called JH Creative. I have a love for helping small businesses build their brand to attract their ideal client through great design. I offer branding, website design and graphic design services to my clientele. I’ve worked with clients locally, regionally, and nationally. My biggest passion recently has been helping up-and-coming authors create, build, and market their own personal brands. It always excites me when they see their brand for the first time and their reaction is, “That’s SO me!”

In 2020, when the world shut down, my design business came to a halt. So I used the time to build and launch a new brand, one that I had been envisioning for the past couple of years. It’s called The Purpose Planners. As a busy working mom with dreams, and goals, and lots of schedules to manage, I craved one solution to help me manage ALL the things – both personally and in business – so I designed a daily goal planner to not only get my life together, but also help other women just like myself. This has blossomed into a growing online community of women who desire to live each day on purpose, with purpose.

As a growing entrepreneur, I have a passion for helping other women to grow their business too. In June of 2022, I co-founded a company called The Collective, with my business partner, Amy Kathleen Smith. Inspired by the mom who wants to turn her passion into a profit, The Collective offers workshops, courses, and a private community to help make her vision a reality.

I’m also part of the hope*writers community where I’m working on writing my very first book! It has been a long-time in the making, and there’s so much more work to do, but it has already affirmed how much my words matter. And yours do too!
